United Campus Ministry Leader: Rev. Scott Spencer About Us United Campus Ministry, on the campus of East Central University in Ada, OK, is an ecumenical campus ministry which reaches out to the entire university community, the community, and beyond.
We're Ecumenical and Christ-centered UCM is supported by nine local churches and five denominations. Our vision is to know Christ and to make Christ known and everyone is always welcome to join us. We are unashamedly Christ-centered and unashamedly ecumenical.
WorshipWorship at UCM is at the heart of all we do. We gather as a community on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. whenever school is in session. However, we seek to cultivate a lifestyle of worship that takes place 24/7. Bible Study & Other Small GroupsWe offer numerous opportunities for study and fellowship:
- Men's Bible Study -
- Women's Bible Study -
- Co-Ed Study -
- Greek Study -
- Prayer Breakfast -
- Leadership Team -
MissionsAt UCM, we believe that God calls us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
Students at UCM are involved in missions in a variety of ways: Matthew 25 Mission, Habitat for Humanity, the food pantry and clothes closet at First Christian Church, support of two children through Compassion International, and mission experiences.

EvangelismSharing Christ takes place one-on-one and in small groups. UCM's approach to evangelism is low-key. We don't push our beliefs on others. However, we are not afraid to tell others what Jesus Christ means to us. And in a post-modern world, we challenge others to seriously consider the claims of Christ. FellowshipUCM is a home away from home for many students at ECU. You can usually find students at UCM studying, sleeping, watching television or movies, playing video games, or just hanging out with friends. We have activities for students like holiday parties, but many impromptu activities take place as well such as trips to the movies, the bowling alley, or area restaurants.
